Dhaka, Jun 20 : India has offered Bangladesh relief assistance worth million dollars to overcome the loss of lives and property in the recent rain-triggered disaster in the country's south eastern Chittagong city.
"The (Indian) Prime Minister (Manmohan Singh) has offered an immediate assistance of 10 million dollars for relief and rehabilitation of the disaster," Bangladesh's foreign affairs adviser, Iftekhar Ahmed Chowdhury, said on Wednesday.
