At least four people were killed and seven were injured in the storm, national disaster agency spokesman Rey Balido said. The death toll could rise as more reports arrive. The dense clouds and heavy rains made the day seem almost as dark as night. The super storm knocked out power and communications in several provinces. But the nation appeared to avoid a major disaster as the rapidly moving typhoon blew away before wreaking more damage, officials said
